The museum encompasses four floors and covers the history of Chunghwa Post (the postal service for the Republic of China and Taiwan), the modern postal service, philately, and special exhibitions.〔(Postal Museum )〕 The museum opened at a location in Xindian on March 20, 1967, on the 70th anniversary of Chunghwa Post.
